Luke was Jenna Hamilton's and Tamara Kaplan's college tour guide. He asks Jenna who her favorite author is, and they immediately hit it off. He invites her to meet him later, to which she agrees after leaving Tamara at a party. The two wind up hooking up and forming a romantic relationship. He is currently Jenna's boyfriend, though they recently broke up.
He is portrayed by Evan Williams.

Luke was born in a rather poor family and worked himself to the bone all his life to get into SCU.

Season 4[]
In Overnight, while on a college tour, Jenna and Tamara run into Luke, a college junior who was their tour guide of Southern California University (SCU), and instatnly Jenna gets smitten with him. As she tries to get over her recent spat with Matty and wanting to adapt a more mature personality before leaving high school, she decides to tag along with Luke to an adult party that insitnatly grew boring. She and him sneak out of the party and spend the night in his room to makeout and more. Thinking it was just a one time thing, Jenna is taken aback when she learns he wants to be something more, which Jenna agrees to.
In Crowning Moments, Jenna and Luke had been going out with one for about a month and are actually goign strong, but soon problems begin to arise with in their relationship as their age has become a factor and also the fact that Jenna is still in high school. It soon begins to boil over when Lacey unexpectedly invites him to Palos Hills for the weekend to watch Jenna host the annual PHHS Senior Talent show. It leaves Jenna shaken as she didn't expect him to watch her high school world unfold and also her old drama with Matty. However, he soon understands that everyone has baggage and buys her flowers and her favorite kind of coffee.
In After Hours, Jenna and Luke are at the end of a study date before they are interuptted by Matty, who reminded Jenna of Echosmith concert they bought tickets from junior year, but had forgotten about. Matty tries to suggest that Jenna should go with Luke, but Luke politely declines as he needed to focus on some serious studying.
In Prison Breaks, after having a disaster night with their friends, Jenna and Tamara decide to hit up SCU to party and sleepover, but get a surpise when they find Luke getting a massage from his female roommate. However, it's quickly learned that his roommate was a lesbian. After that debacle, Luke, T and Jenna decide to explore the campus, but only to find the entire place in a slump due to the stress of the upcoming Midterms. Jenna comes up with an idea where Luke can study and they can also get alone time. However, it goes arwy when they get locked out on the roof for the night, which begins to anger Luke. As they get into areguement, Luke says how Jenna is immature and couldn't understand. After they cool down, Luke reveals the reason why he is stressed the way is because he's on scholarship and that if he doesn't get anywhere better than a B, he will be cut off and even with financial aid, he wouldn't be able to afford SCU. Jenna soon begins to understand how they are in different stages in their lives, but still wants to continue their relationship.
In Snow Job, As Jenna goes on her senior ski trip, Luke surpises her. However, his visit is anything, but great as Eva begins to sabotge Jenna's friendship with Matty by causing all these injuries to her and also herself. Luke begins to get angry as he has a feeling that she is not over Matty, and admits that he had sacrifice time studying for his exams to be with her. He soon leaves her in the cabin, he takes a momoemnt to calm down and gives her a reasonable place for them to talk at. But Eva begins to distract Jenna by tricking her that Matty was in danger, which makes Jenna forget to meet Luke, leaving him stranded on the moutain. Later in the episode, as Jenna returns back to Palos Hills from the trip, Luke leaves a message for Jenna saying how he noticed how she still has high school drama she needs to get under control before getting into a relationship.
In Final, three weeks after their break up, Jenna decides to surpise him at college to try and get back together with him, but is shocked when a girl stops by beggging him to go out. However, later in the episode, he admits to Jenna that she was a friend, and that it was a great idea they broke up as he was able to focus and pass his studies. He then calls her a good person before leaving her house.
Season 5[]
In Don't Dream It's Over, Luke stops by in her dream to remind her the onl reasoon why they were together was so she can distract herself away from Matty.
In I'm the Kind of Girl Who Found Her Voice in College", Almost 2 years after they had broken up, Jenna runs into Luke at her internship, and is confused. She then instantly rembered that they both signed up for the internship back when they were dating.
